Meet Lisa & Chris

Thirty years of marriage, one very big birthday, and a whole lot of people we love. We couldn't think of a better way to mark it than having all our favorite humans flying to the islands for three days (or more) of sun, salt air, and good food.

Everything you need for the weekend lives right here — times, addresses, dress codes, and a one-tap way to drop it all into your calendar. Save this page to your home screen and you'll never have to ask "where are we meeting?" again.

With all our aloha, Lisa & Chris

🌺 Meet Your Ohana

Say Aloha!

We're bringing together family and friends from all over the country, and many of you have never met before. Introduce yourself in our digital guest book before we land in Hawaiʻi.

El Baile del Dólar(The Panamanian Money Dance)

Lisa is proudly half American and half Panamanian, and one of the ways we're celebrating both her 50th birthday and our 30th wedding anniversary is by sharing a fun tradition inspired by her Panamanian heritage.

In Panama, this tradition is known as El Baile del Dólar — "The Dollar Dance." It is a joyful celebration where family and friends shower a couple with blessings, prosperity, and well wishes for the future.

Truth be told...we didn't do El Baile del Dólar at our wedding 30 years ago. And honestly...when else are we ever going to have the chance to have our favorite people throw money at us? 😂

So, we're making up for lost time — with Haynes Cash!

P.S. And yes...we fully expect someone to yell, "¡Que llueva dinero!" 🌺💵

Know Before You Go

Important Information

··

Honolulu now

Weather

Early September in Honolulu runs 82–88°F and humid, with brief passing showers. Evenings on the water are breezy — bring a light layer.

Parking

Trolley: International Market Place Garage is the best option (5-min walk). Royal Hawaiian Center Garage is a close second with validation, and Kapiʻolani Park is the budget pick.
Cruise: Park at the Aloha Tower Marketplace garage on site at Pier 8. Topa Financial Center, Pacific Guardian Center, and Harbor Court are nearby backups.
Give yourself 20 extra minutes — it's a holiday weekend and the city will be busy.

Uber & Lyft

Staying in Waikīkī? An Uber or Lyft is often easier than driving and paying for parking.
To the Duke Kahanamoku Statue: about $8–15
To the Star of Honolulu: about $12–20
Allow a few extra minutes for pickup during peak hours.
Airport shuttle: 808.439.8800 if that's helpful.

Time Zone

Hawaiʻi Standard Time does not observe daylight saving. HST is 5 hours behind Central Time in September. Every time on this page is HST.

Flight Tips

Fly into HNL. Book arrivals for Thursday September 3 so you're rested for Friday's 10:45 AM trolley, and depart Sunday evening or later.

What to Bring

Reef-safe sunscreen, a hand fan, portable phone charger, comfortable walking shoes, sunglasses, a light wrap for the cruise, and cash for tips. For the flight: an inflatable seat cushion, neck pillow, earbuds, and a blanket — the plane gets cold and it's a long ride. And don't forget flip flops for the beach.
